The tiger is very showy - likes to plant the foot so be careful

Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

Did you manage to get all your changes done before the 4th of February? If not perhaps we chose a special day just for you when your qi can interact auspiciously with the universal qi.

Tues 7th Feb 2012: yang earth dog - void - clash to the dragon

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yang earth dog

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is to resource for the emperor as the fire team are present in the tiger and the dog and the season is wood to support them.

All the stems and branches are yang - it will be a vibrant day. It will be a full moon so things will be bright and shiny in the light of the moon.

If you like both earth or fire then today is your day - you can shine brightly and be supported. Care should be taken to ensure that the brightness of your shine does not put others in the dark though.

Wed 8th Feb: yin earth pig - travel signs

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yin earth pig

The emperor is yin earth.

The water can support the wood so the flow is to water but away from the emperor.

The emperor is weak. If you enjoy a strong flow to water, and you like to travel for your job (or for pleasure) then today will suit you perfectly.

The tiger is notorious for speed freaks - so, with two on the lam - watch that accelerator foot it can lead you to difficulties.

Thurs 9th Feb: yang metal rat

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yang metal rat

The emperor is yang metal.

The flow is from metal to water - the emperor is feeble.

The rat and the dragon are secret members of the water team so default to water. The tiger's wood is completely irrelevant here and can't take the flow.

A great nation receives small nations

Like an ocean receives rivers.

24 /61The New Lao Tzu - Ray Griggs

Fri 10th Feb: yin metal ox

Today is regarded as a void day as it precedes the solar new year.

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yin metal ox

The emperor is yin metal.

Metal gives up its energy to nurture the one down line from him - the water. Water is strong. The dragon and ox are earth and can nurture metal. Stalemate.

I child born today is likely to be rebellious - finding it difficult to get support from others - even though it is promised it is often not delivered. I have met people like this and they are very confused by the universe. Sometimes it is useful to make our own hardship - knowingly do something which will stretch yourself can be exactly what the universe wants.

Sat 11th Feb: yang water tiger - duplicate of the month pillar

When a pillar is replicated it is considered a time for reflection and for planning rather than action. If one of the pillars in your own chart match this then it is doubly important to stop still for 24 hours and watch the pattern unfolding.

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yang water tiger

The emperor is yang water.

Even though the tiger is wood and he has a great support from his immediate neighbour it is going to be pretty difficult to withstand the huge flood of water bearing down.

When there is so much water, particularly yang water, it is likely that many people will be overcome by their inner world they are likely to just break into floods of tears, and many times will not know what it is about. Maintain equanimity and perspective. Notice what is going on for you and be receptive but not overwhelmed.

In the spirit of reflection and gathering your energy can you help me please.

So that I can make the blog even more useful for you can you please fill in this 10 question survey monkey questionnaire for me please. It is running for the whole of the month of February.

Sun 12th Feb: yin water rabbit

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yin water rabbit

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is to wood. The full seasonal combination of wood is present and fully accounted for.

The wood is able to take the flow of all the water - bring it on - kind of like a mangrove forest - able to withstand all sorts of water in all sorts of conditions.

The lesson is still about water, emotional states and the deep creative well within us all.

Mon  13th Feb: yang wood dragon

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yang wood dragon

The emperor is yang wood.

The dragon could be wood, he could be water and he could be his original nature of earth. It really depends on the double hours which way he will go.

The flow is from water to wood in the tiger. The two dragons when they are being earth will provide wealth to the yang wood emperor. If they decide to be wood then wood is strong and the emperor has a great team playing with him.

This is the kind of day where your energy will be a great determinant in the flow factor and what you experience. Indeed we always have the potential to be masters of our own destiny - we sometimes forget and try to push and shove. Flowing along the path of Tao is the key.

Solar New Year - 4th February

Vicki Sauvage - Monday, January 30, 2012
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

We are in count down mode for the Solar New Year which is 4th February. The days either side are regarded as void days. Important events should be postponed until about the 6th of February.

Tues 31st Jan 2012: yin metal rabbit - same as the fading year

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin metal rabbit

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is to metal making the emperor very strong. All the stems are yin metal.

Even if you are a yin metal person you might find today a strain - you should lift up your voice and sing - which is the natural expression of yin metal. This allows the qi to flow.

It could bring relationships under pressure - and it will be from what people say rather than what they don't say. Reflect carefully before you speak - you might not express what is in your heart but what is in your bile.

Wed 1st Feb: yang water dragon - same as the year to come

This is the 2nd last day that you can really do those important things until the 6th of February.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang water dragon

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is towards water and towards the emperor.

If you are a yang water person who likes to be strong then today will bring you some support. If you are a yang metal person who likes to be strong the day is most likely to be tricky for you.

Use the flow to tidy up and bring order to chaos. If you don't know where to start then start on the very smallest part of the whole. Stop, celebrate or acknowledge and then move on to the next part. A little bit like eating something that was good for you but which you didn't like as a kid.

Thurs 2nd Feb: yin water snake - travel sign

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin water snake

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is from metal to water - the emperor is therefore strong.

There is weakness in strength and strength in weakness - the paradox of Tao.

Walk slowly.

Don't rush.

Each step brings you to the best moment of your life,

the present moment.

Thich Nhat Than

Fri 3rd Feb: yang wood horse

Today is regarded as a void day as it precedes the solar new year.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang wood horse

The emperor is yang wood.

The horse and the rabbit are in a clash. They are also both romance stars and they clash with each other. Take special care to be present and thoughtful in your romantic relationships. Romance stars also pertain to those in the entertainment industry so take care in your dealings if your industry is romancing the public. There is more pressure on the horse than the rabbit.

Sat 4th Feb: yin wood sheep - solar new year

Today is one for reflecting deeply on what you want for the coming year. You should have done your ceremony for the coming year and be able to taste, feel the new energy and the optimism of the dragon.

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yin wood sheep

The emperor is yin wood.

In the spirit of reflection and gathering your energy can you help me please.

So that I can make the blog even more useful for you can you please fill in this 10 question survey monkey questionnaire for me please.

Sun 5th Feb: yang fire monkey - void day

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yang fire monkey

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is to water. The emperor is controlled by power - it is very very strong and will result in frustration for those who do not like being controlled. Impose your own restrictions and you will transcend and learn the lesson.

The monkey and the tiger clash but the monkey prefers to hang out with the dragon thus relieving the pressure.

Fire and water clash creating steam. We will not be able to see the real picture so even more important to observe the void. Another do nothing day.

Mon  6th Feb: yin fire rooster - start now

  • year: yang water dragon
  • month: yang water tiger
  • day: yin fire rooster

The emperor is yin fire.

He yields completely by combining with the yang water sitting next to him to form wood.

The flow to wood is the most bright and so attention goes to wood which in turn nourishes the emperor. A complex situation and a child born today will be mercurial - tricky to get it right with this child. Get help and use Chinese herbs and acupressure to assist the child. As they grow you will need to help nourish his or her mind and help them make decisions for themselves.

The hole in the centre makes the wheel turn

Vicki Sauvage - Tuesday, January 24, 2012
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

Hope you enjoyed the lunar new year celebrations where ever you are in this wide and vast globe. There is another New Year coming up - that is the solar new year on the 4th of February. At that time the dragon will have got all his wings and will be ready to fly. You can jump on board now - with you preparations. If you have missed your annual follow up then call or email now.

Tues 24th Jan 2012: yang wood monkey - travel day

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang wood monkey

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is to metal making the emperor weak.

If you are a strong yang wood person then you will find your power being threatened today - make sure that you understand the power in yielding and you will travel well.

Wed 25th Jan: yin wood rooster - clash day

Avoid doing things important today unless you can use the clash between the rabbit and the rooster it is not regarded as auspicious.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin wood rooster

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is towards metal and from the emperor.

The emperor would like to yield to the flow but he is being strengthened by the rabbit.

Yielding to the universal flow can be very useful. If you have the conditions in your own chart to navigate the outflow successfully then go with it - you will know if it is easy - if it is tough then give to others to learn how to receive fully.

Thurs 26th Jan: yang fire dog

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang fire dog

The emperor is yang fire

The flow is to the emperor - as the rabbit is supporting him.

You will find support from the universe today if you are a yang fire person - can you use that energy? That is another matter indeed.

Fri 27th Jan: yin fire pig - travel day

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin fire pig

The emperor is yin fire.

The emperor is supported by the wood team of the rabbit and the pig.

There is a challenge to his power so if you are a yin fire person then learn to yield as the energy of the day will bring some challenges if you do not know how to do this. There is great strength in yielding.

If your work takes you on the road then watch your speed - if the pig happens to be your travel sign you might find yourself distracted by the freedom of cruising along the highway.

Sat 28th Jan: yang earth rat

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang earth rat

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is to the offspring so the emperor is weakened. He does have support from two of the branches but they must all capitulate to the needs of the hungry.

Sometimes when we are not in a very good flow, when our luck pillar is challenging - doing charitable deeds, giving succour to the less able, acts of philanthropy can help the wheel of karma turn and thus enable the world to move more smoothly. If you are well resourced, if your life is relatively easy then give to others - time is always a good resource to donate to good causes.

Sun 29th Jan: yin earth ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin earth ox

The emperor is yin earth

The earth yields metal. The flow is from the emperor to the children again, but today it is even more convincing.

If you are a yin earth person and you like to flow out - today will be supportive of that flow.

If you are a yin earth person and you like to be strong or dominant then today will not be supportive - you should yield to the energy of the day and give things away - objects, time, money, wisdom.

Mon  30th Jan: yang metal tiger - travel day

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang metal tiger

The emperor is yang metal.

The flow is to rivalry. The emperor is therefore weak.

Are you ready for the 4th of Feb - the day of the Solar New Year. That day the dragon dries off his wings and is ready to fly.

We would try not to be doing too many things on these days of transition. It is time for planning, preparation, doing your ceremony to welcome in the new energy of the year.

Yipes forgotten to have my annual follow up done.

Prepartion for Chinese Lunar New Year on 23rd are underway

Vicki Sauvage - Monday, January 16, 2012
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

Next Monday 23rd is the beginning of Chinese Lunar New Year. A time for preparation and ritual cleaning is upon many Chinese this week.

Tues 17th Jan 2012: yin fire ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin fire ox

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is to metal as the oxen's earth is recruited to support the metal in the stems. In today's chart metal represents wealth, but the emperor surrenders to wealth.

The emperor is weak.

Yin fire ox day can bring events with motor vehicles and it is best to not be on the road unless absolutely necessary. This warning is despite it not being a travel day.

Wed 18th Jan: yang earth tiger

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang earth tiger

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is from the emperor to his children. It is a time of nurturing and sustaining others or else you will become cranky because you are weak and cannot control the outflow.

Yielding to the universal flow can be very useful. If you have the conditions in your own chart to navigate the outflow successfully then go with it - you will know if it is easy - if it is tough then give to others to learn how to receive fully.

Thurs 19th Jan: yin earth rabbit

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin earth rabbit

The emperor is yin earth.

The flow is borderline but all is flowing away from the emperor.

The double hours will determine the real flow and the hidden energies today. It is up to you to prioritize and then action.

Things which matter most

must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.

Goethe

Fri 20th Jan: yang metal dragon

Today is the midpoint of the month and, is the serious time for preparation for Chinese New Year.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang metal dragon

The emperor is yang metal.

The flow is regarded as one of rivalry. The yin kids are trying to vie for the attention of the emperor but he is pretty cool with his dragon mate sitting under him. Numerically however he is outdone. Two yin metal and sitting over the ox - curtains to the emperor. He must yield.

There is great power in yielding, knowing exactly when to give ground is the essence of statesmanship.

Sat 21st Jan: yin metal snake

The snake is a travel sign - so caution on the road particularly because of the flow and the strength of the emperor.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin metal snake

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is intense support for the emperor.

The emperor is therefore very strong.

Travel is in the spotlight today so make sure that you do not speed, and that you have plenty of time to get to your destination.

Some people who do not like metal might experience intense headaches today so make sure that you manage tension and stress well. Drink plenty of water and go exercise that diaphragm - singing is a great outlet.

Sun 22nd Jan: yang water horse

Today is the day of intense preparation and some people are planning steam boat parties for after the cleaning. There are two romance stars in the spotlight today.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang water horse

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is very weakly to fire because of the presence of the rabbit. This means that the focus is on wealth and the emperor is definitely strong enough to control the wealth.

Are you strong enough to control the wealth? What does your chart tell you. Is water your wealth, is metal your wealth? What does wealth mean to you?

We are related to each other.

By taking care of you, I take care of myself.

By taking care of myself, I take care of you.

Happiness and safety are not individual matters.

Thich Nhat Hanh

Mon  23rd Jan: yin water sheep - HAPPY NEW YEAR

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin water sheep

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is to wood.

The emperor is relatively strong but must yield to the power of the sheep and the rabbit to combine to form output for him. He is forced to act benevolently. Give until it hurts ;-) Philanthropy is a great institution.

Power should not be displayed

Vicki Sauvage - Monday, January 09, 2012
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

The water dragon is beginning to rise in strength. I have lots of fabulous events planned for 2012 - those of you who regularly browse my site will see a new menu item SMBH - synthesizing mind, body and heart.

Tues 10th Jan 2012: yang metal horse

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang metal horse

The emperor is yang metal.

The flow is to rivalry.

The emperor is weak.

The way to deal with rivalry is to be doing good for others with no thought of personal reward. It is akin to flowing out like a mother who nurtures her children with no thought of personal return. It can be very difficult to truly nurture this in our hearts. We need to cultivate an awareness of what is actually in our hearts so we can see more clearly what is there.

Wed 11th Jan: yin metal sheep

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin metal sheep

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is to definitely to the emperor with all three stems supporting him. The next strongest energy is wood and wood is wealth to the metal emperor.

The emperor is weak because he is trying to control the wood.

There is a loss to self when we are in pursuit of wealth, riches and rewards. How do you handle this energy. Do you lose yourself in your ambition? Are you always trying to control the flow of events around you to benefit your personal objectives and agenda?

Thurs 12th Jan: yang water monkey

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang water monkey

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is to the emperor.

The emperor is strong,He has managed to recruit all the metal to support himself - kind of like a big army that is going to do his bidding. There are a few irritants around but easily dealt with by the recruits.

Verse 80/36

Increasing

   is followed by decreasing:

Gaining

   is followed by losing:

Rising

   is followed by falling:

Acceptance

   is followed by rejection:

Strengthening

   is followed by weakening

This is why softness and weakness

   overcome hardness and strength.

Therefore,

  A fish

   should not stray from deep water;

 And power

   should not be displayed.

Ray Grigg A Contemporary Tao Te Ching isbn 0-8048-3034-7

Fri 13th Jan: yin water rooster

This is regarded as a clash day and it is not advocated that important events take place today.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin water rooster

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is from metal to water.

The emperor is fairly strong but there is a lot of revolution sitting beneath the surface.

The rabbit and the rooster clash with lots of noise and fury. They are both romance stars so it could mean that your partnerships could come under pressure. If you notice yourself arguing and quarreling with loved ones then say - stop enough - this is not about us this is the universal energy and I am stepping out of the situation.

Sat 14th Jan: yang wood dog

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang wood dog

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is weakly to metal.

The emperor is therefore weak.

When a person is weak they can ask for a get support, when they are excessively strong no-one can find a place to support them.

Sun 15th Jan: yin wood pig

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin wood pig

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is to wood with the emperor and the pig and the rabbit all providing yin wood.

The emperor is therefore in the flow and all is well.

Yin metal is strong and would like to control the flow BUT the season supports the wood nurturing it. This means that power is visible but the emperor is not willing to give in to the power.

A fish

   should not stray from deep water;

 And power

   should not be displayed.

Mon  16th Jan: yang fire rat - romance is in the air

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang fire rat

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is to water.

The emperor is feeble with a lot of water surrounding him in all different forms. He totally submits to all that is powerful and controlling.

With feebleness comes much universal support. Children born today will definitely find many mentors, supporters and people willing to nurture them.

There is no distinction between the giver, the recipient and the gift

Vicki Sauvage - Tuesday, January 03, 2012
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

2012 will be the year of the water dragon and I am busily preparing for that event. I have lots of fabulous events planned - those of you who regularly browse my site will see a new menu item.

Tues 3rd Jan 2012: yin water pig

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin water pig

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is to output.

The emperor is weak.

The flow towards output or nurturing of others is a fabulous trend. Some of us are naturally very good at doing this and others of us need to learn how to make sacrifices of our selves. We can tend to be too self focused particularly those of you who have dominant charts - learning to truly give without attachment is the key.

Wed 4th Jan: yang wood rat

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang wood rat

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is to wood.

The emperor is strong being supported by the universal flow.

When we learn to cultivate non-attachment we find that nothing is good and nothing is bad - all is as it should be.

Today's sharing is from Thich Nhat Hanh.

' There is no distinction between the one who gives, the one who receives, and the gift itself.'

Thurs 5th Jan: yin wood ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin wood ox

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is to wood.

The emperor is strong,He has managed to recruit all the metal and the water to support his ends.

There is an attempt at subversion going on between the rat and the ox but it comes to nothing because of the rabbit. He is in his dying hours but still has a little oomph left in him.

Here in the southern hemisphere it is a little easier to feel the movement in the universal qi flows as we are in the full flight of summer when it is easier to maintain optimism and to feel the power of the sun warming our bones and for most of us our hearts.

We are heading to the change of the month tomorrow morning at 06:41hrs - be prepared.

Fri 6th Jan: yang fire tiger; yin metal ox month

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang fire tiger

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is tricky! Lots of potentials which are unrealisable except in certain hours.

Traditionally when we change months we would consider it a void day and advocate not doing special things on this day. I would reinforce that choice.

Good day for reading, writing, planning and generally doing little or nothing.

This is the last month of the rabbit year and we will see the rabbit's influence fading and the energy of the dragon starting to rise up.

Sat 7th Jan: yin fire rabbit

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin fire rabbit

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is from wood through to metal. The rabbits give to the day master, who gives to offspring who gives to wealth.

If your chart supports this flow, and you can handle wealth then it is a good day for making wealth creation plans and actioning your plans. Do you make plans for your career advancement? Do you visialise regularly? Are you able to put into action your plans or do they always remain in the virtual realm? Sometimes getting coaching around these things can be really helpful.

Sun 8th Jan: yang earth dragon

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang earth dragon

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is to metal.

The emperor is weak as he flows out to support the metal stems.

If metal is important to you then you will be able to 'reap' the rewards of metal. If you are looking for the metal flow to support you then the ox and the yin metal will be VERY useful to you.

Mon 9th Jan: yin earth snake

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin earth snake

The emperor is yin earth.

The flow is VERY powerfully to metal as the ox and snake combine to form a very powerful, well supported metal team.

The emperor is weak.

If you have a rooster in your chart and it is important to you then you will feel as though there is some sort of universal current running through you today. We refer not just to your natal chart but to your luck pillars. sometimes we are just waiting for the right flow to be established. It, will however be very difficult to take a break from this flow. For those of us whe do not like yin metal please make sure you don't use knives or very sharp implements and DON'T plan surgery for today.

From Possession comes loss

Vicki Sauvage - Monday, December 26, 2011
Sauvage World Feng Shui Blog

Tues 27th Dec: yang fire dragon

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang fire dragon

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is to power.

The emperor is weak.

Consider your relationship to power. How do you express it? What do you do when others are more powerful than you. What do you do when people are 'weaker' than you. Power is not a dirty word. It enables us to guide and mentor others when wielded wisely. It is always important to understand that we will always be in positions of influencing others. When we bring wisdom to bear on power that is where true leadership starts and ends.

Set an aspiration now to find and nurture wisdom within.

Wed 28th Dec: yin fire snake

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin fire snake

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is to metal.

The emperor is weak partially surrendering to wealth.

Wealth is not just financial resources but our talents and our skills. They are the things which bring financial rewards. Even if we are not wealthy, if we have the resilience to reinvent ourselves then we are indeed wealthy.

From Ray Griggs:

Verse 7/44

.....

From possession

   comes loss.

From attachemnt

   comes misfortune......

Thurs 29th Dec: yang earth horse

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang earth horse

The emperor is yang earth

The flow is to metal.

The emperor is weak, surrendering to output, there may be some confusion and overwhelm experienced by some, depending on their personal chart and how it interacts with the daily cosmic energies.

The horse and the rat clash producing steam.

There are 3 romance stars present so the emphasis is on romance, the engagement of the public. I have noticed something related to this and famous movie directors - I will explore it more and talk to you about it some time in the future.

Fri 30th Dec: yin earth sheep

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin earth sheep

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is complex but ultimately comes down to the strength of the wood team. They can drag everyone along with their plans because of the presence of the rat.

The emperor is extremely weak and surrenders to the dominant energy.

When we yield we often find the greatest strength and the greatest support from the universe to support our plans.

Sat 31st Dec: yang metal monkey

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang metal monkey

The emperor is yang metal.

Initially it looks like the emperor is strong, surrounded by all his mates BUT the monkey and the rat combine to form water and therefore the emperor yields.

The emperor is weak - following water which is output.

The cosmic energies interact with us in predictable ways. There are the seasons, the year, the month the day, the hour  - all are governed by the cosmic interplay of the 5 elements (with two spins - yin and yang). These energies bring certain qualities, resources and challenges - how we fare depends on our personal interpretation and practices.

Sun 1st Jan: yin metal rooster

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin metal rooster

The emperor is yin metal..

The flow is to metal.

The emperor is strong, with a little rivalry sitting right next to him.

When more water comes on the scene the emperor will become weak, but only for a short period of time. This is relevant when babes are born - the hour that they come into this life, draw their first breath is when their personal independent interaction with universal qi begins.

How we deal with rivalry is important - I personally chose not to treat others as rivals - merely potential allies, colleagues or partners.

Mon 2nd Jan: yang water dog

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang water dog

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is to the emperor from the metal.

The emperor is very strong.

The woman born with this configuration will find great support from their partner. She will have to figure out how to negotiate power in this modern age - but it means she will likely have a protected life.

We are entering the countdown to the new month on the 6th of January.

Tues 20th Dec: yin earth rooster

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin earth rooster

The emperor is yin earth.

The flow is to the metal which is weakening for the emperor.

The emperor is weak.

There is a clash between the rabbit and the rooster.

There are 3 romance stars present but two of them are in clash. This leaves the rat as the clear winner.

Spend today thinking about the meaning of romance and inter-connectedness. The romance stars are not just about inter-personal intimate relationship but how 'engaging' you are with the public. Do you enter in alliances or do you want to stand out. Do you willingly 'serve' the public or are you wanting the public to serve you?

Wed 21st Dec: yang metal dog

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang metal dog

The emperor is yang metal.

There is a very weak flow to fire but it is insubstantial and therefore neutralised. The major flow is with the emperor - metal is king today.

Today you can reflect on the nature of the metal meridians. The qi flow is strongly metal so the lung and to a greater extent the large intestine meridian is in the spotlight.

According the Hammer the metal phase is about the expansion and transformation of the personal bond to significant others and to society at large. 'Lung energies give us our most immediate' relationship with the world - we breath in, we breath out, others breath out and then they breath in.

Metal is also about authority and our relationship with it.

Thurs 22nd Dec: yin metal pig

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin metal pig

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is to two fold. To metal and to wood. That is there are two flows. The rat allows the wood flow to dominate. If you want to know why then ask my a question. ;-)

The emperor is weak.

The energy is with wood and wood is about justice and the liver and gall bladder.

If you are feeling that you need to wield the sword of St Michael then consider on whose behalf you are feeling indignant and righteous? Is this a constant state for you. Are you regularly roused to great passion on behalf of others? Do you leave anything for yourself. Is your passion for others a way of not looking at your own needs. Does it take you away from an inner state of connectedness? We are looking for tracking where you lose energy and then how to rectify it.

Fri 23rd Dec: yang water rat

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang water rat

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is to water all the way.

If you know of a child born today then it is likely they will  be inherently scared of water. They are likely to suffer a lot from dampness and will hate cold, damp air. Their lungs and large intestine will be under pressure as too the fire meridians. They will need to be kept warm but not too cossetted as they will not like the accumulation of fire under the damp.

Sat 24th Dec: yin water ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin water ox

The emperor is yin water.

The rat is the determiner of the flow - it is to water.

The emperor is strong - to very strong.

The child born today will find life a bit tricky - he / she will have to struggle and make their own way in the world. There is nothing wrong with these sorts of charts - they just are and it is how we wend our way through this life - the energy being that we are attracts our lessons to help us transform. We can seek guidance from the Tao De Ching for spiritual sustenance (among other pretty fine books on how to be in this world).

The wise know

   they do not know;

The fools do not know

   they do not know.

Those who recognize

    the ignorance in ignorance

  Are not ignorant;

And those who recongnize

    the foolishness in foolishness

  Are not foolish.

Therefore,

  By knowing

    both ignorance and foolishness,

The sage becomes wise.  Ray Grigg translation

Sun 25th Dec: yang wood tiger

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang wood tiger

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is to wood.

The emperor is moderately strong with water in the rat and wood above and below.

This emperor knows how to draw the best from those around them. He / She is on their own path, they are usually courageous but can lack wisdom - they need to draw on the wisdom of metal to help them stop chopping their own path in the jungle when there is a well worn path just meters away.

Mon 26th Dec: yin wood rabbit

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin wood rabbit

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is to wood wood wood.

The emperor is very strong.

We have 3 romance stars and they are all happy, happy, happy.

It is definitely romance time for tigers, horses and dogs, with some good times for the pig, sheep and rabbit. Go party you fabulous people and have the time of your lives. Oh btw do remember to conserve some energy for the next day though.

Be well and be happy as it is all a state of mind.

Tues 13th Dec: yang water tiger

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang water tiger

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is to the emperor.

The emperor is strong.

The energy focus is on water and the qualities of water. It symbolises communication - the skill and the depth of communication. We need to be strong and deep as the deepest lake. Able to listen and the hold energy. Have you ever been able to sit quietly, holding a space whilst another reveals the things that animate their soul? Are you able to be still and quiet with another human being - it is the way of water - learn from it.

Wed 14th Dec: yin water rabbit

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin water rabbit

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is towards wood because of the two rabbits.

There is a penalty when the rabbit and the rat come together - there are two rabbits so the penalty is pretty strong.

The rabbit has wood contained in it - wood is about standing for right thought and right action. Wood people tend to stand on their digs and ensure that all around them are attending to the right course of action, speak the right words and think the correct things. If you are overwhelmed by wood you are likely to be too rigid in these areas.

The key is moderation - learn to moderate our internal world so that more qi is available for our daily lives.

Thurs 16th Dec: yang wood dragon

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang wood dragon

The emperor is yang wood.

The flow is to water.

The emperor is well resourced with the flow of water supporting the emperor.

In the hour of the tiger (0300 - 0500) there is a strong probability of a sudden switch to wood - in this instance it will signal competition. If your liver or gallbladder are weak then there is a risk in that double hour of too much heat arising and disrupting the liver and gallbladder meridians.

Again the

Fri 16th Dec: yin wood snake

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin wood snake

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is to water.

The water supports the emperor - he is kind of strong. He has lots of pressure from the metal attacking him but with the downstream flows to the wood there is a better blow which more supports the emperor.

Enjoy the light rain which is falling - just keeping your moisture up - not too dry, not too soggy - just right. Enjoy the blessings.

Sat 17th Dec: yang fire horse

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang fire horse

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is to fire but not very robustly.

The emperor is medium to strong.

Reflect on the sunshine which is actually in your life right now. We can often move into the negativity of 1/2 drained cups - This is always our perception, not the truth of life. Take stock of the energy that is actually there for you. Do you know how to have that flow outwards into the greater universe?

Sun 18th Dec: yin fire sheep

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin fire sheep

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is to wood. Wood is resource for the yin fire day emperor.

The emperor is strong with all the support from the rabbit and the sheep (who turns into wood when he hangs out with his mate the rabbit).

Remember that for the whole of the month the rat and the rabbit remain as romance stars so the light of love is quite possibly shining on you both. Enjoy it while these rays of sunshine last.

Mon 19th Dec: yang earth monkey

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang earth monkey

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is to water, which is in the place of wealth for the yang earth emperor.

The emperor is weak.

As you are scrambling to get gifts for those who you love and to make up for the people you have forgotten or have not yet bought for - spare a thought for those to whom Christmas would be a fine thing. They are alone in the world with no-one who cares for them, to feed, clothe and shelter them.

Select one charity and give some proportion of the money you would have spent on your loved ones and extend the hand of love in to the community.

Tues 6th Dec: yin wood sheep

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin earth pig
  • day: yin wood sheep

The emperor is yin wood.

The flow is wood very strong wood.

The emperor is extremely strong.

If you can't use wood or wood is over powering for you then please make sure that you do not let the energy of the day move you to anger. If you notice it rising up into your throat and you are about to read someone's fortune turn your tongue 7 times in you mouth before speaking. Give yourself time to determine that you are NOT acting according to the energy of the day. Anger never solves anything. Debate and dialogue are automatically shut down ensuring there will be no resolution of issues.

Wed 7th Dec: yang fire monkey

At 19:32 hours we switch to the month of the metal rat.

As it is a day of change we would not schedule anything important for this day. Postpone important meetings and contract signing as it will make a large difference to the outcomes.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin earth pig
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang fire monkey

The emperor is yang fire.

The flow is weakly towards the fire, but this is just not reliable today.

The monkey and the rat combine to form water but this is just not reliable today.

Definitely a day to attend to your paperwork, to organise things (that doesn't involve other people) and reflect on what you want for the coming month.

Thurs 8th Dec: yin fire rooster

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin fire rooster

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is to metal.

The rooster and the rat clash.

The rooster and the rat are romance stars so if you are in a relationship with someone to whom these stars are important you can expect them to become a little moody and possibly express doubts about their relationship. If this is the case then just accept the situation. Take some time to meditate and create a bubble of love and acceptance that surrounds them. Visualise them finding their true path and their own truth.

Fri 9th Dec: yang earth dog

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang earth dog

The emperor is yang earth

The flow is to metal.

The rabbit and the dog have a special affection for each other.

Today it is useful to reflect on what brings sustenance to your life.Give thinks for the things that do support and nourish you. If you have children - give thanks for them being in your life. If you have parents who are still alive give thanks for the life they gave you. If you have supportive partners - give thanks for them being in your life. If you experience none of these things then have a go at simulating the feelings that these things would bring to you.

Sat 10th Dec: yin earth pig

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin earth pig

The emperor is yin earth.

The flow is to weak wood.

The emperor is weak.

Reflect on the meaning of wealth today. What does it mean to you. When you think of wealth do you only think of money and assets. Would you ever consider your career as being part of your wealth? What about your health? What about your relationships? Give thanks for all or any of the things that you have in your life that match these things. If you are weak in this area then how about doing a quick check list and then prioritise that list.

Sun 11th Dec: yang metal rat

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yang metal rat

The emperor is yang metal.

The month and the day energies match. This means they are very strong.

The flow is to water.

Today is a day for reflecting on who you support, who you nurture, who you lift up. Many times we are so focused on what we expect from the universe, from the people around us that we forget to give thanks for what we have. Today is the day for practicing random acts of kindness and see if you can add anonymous to that action. Pay it forward.

Mon 12th Dec: yin metal ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yang metal rat
  • day: yin metal ox

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is to metal.

The emperor is strong.

This is a day to work with your wisdom and your intuition. You might find that people are moved to say nasty things or give you a good fortune telling. It is a day when people are likely to want to bring you into gossip and speaking ill of others. Resist the temptation. When we listen to gossip we actually collude. Keep your intention clear and shut it down as quickly as you can.
