Today we have yang wood sitting over the dog which is earth. Wood breaks up or conquers earth. We thus have the controlling cycle or the ke cycle today.
The tiger and the snake are still in conflict BUT the tiger makes a special combination with the dog and when the hour of the horse is upon us the energy is complete - this brings a great deal more fire into the picture. If you need fire then this is a great time to plan a situation where you need to 'shine'.
When we are lacking certain energies in our chart we can choose the month, the day or the hour that brings that energy in to do things that are important for our forward movement. Sometimes however there is divine timing - nothing we can do will change that relationship. I remember when I wanted to launch my revamped website - I wanted it to happen at a certain time, on a certain day and scheduled a meeting with my webmistress to 'go live'. When we pressed the button nothing happened! The new hosting service was temporarily down, and the provider we were moving from took some time to action our request. There was therefore a time of suspended animation!
In the word of Robbie Burns 'The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men, gang aft agley." How we respond to the deflection or the deviation from our plans is one of the measures of our maturity as human beings. We cannot direct heaven's will all the time.
We lack water today so we are back to the dry picture of contracted or contracting qi with a bit of warmth and a small amount of nourishment.
The money, today is with property, real estate and big agriculture. Power is strong enough to make the wealth realizable. Yang wood is being attacked by the power so not really a straight forward day.
Weakest qi is water and strongest qi is still the metal twins (power). This can mean that some people will become tyrannical and over the top - but there is enough yang fire to keep this situation under control.
I am just framing up the monthly newsletter and want to signal that I will be writing an article about the charts of the Gordon Brown, Nick Clegg and David Cameron. Should be good. I will look to see if we can draw any parallels with what happened in the Tasmanian election.
