This is our very popular daily blog about matters feng shui and astrology of the day.

Being of service helps deal with the possible conflict which may arise today.

Today is the 8th of May. It is a yin water pig day. The pig is yang water. We therefore have yin and yang polarities in the palace of the emperor. The emperor has his energy robbed by the competitor. This is not a good situation unless the emperor is wise and wily.

The chart looks like this:
  • Year: yin metal rabbit (wood)
  • Month: yin water snake (fire)
  • Day: yin water pig  (yang water)
The pig is in clash with the snake. They are both travel signs so movement is a keynote of this clash. Tihe rabbit and the pig would like to combine but they can't because they do not have their friend the chocolate factory with them (actually their friend yin or yang wood).

The emperor is weak because of the competitor and the presence of a strong output palace. He is only middling to weak as his competitor is being held in check.

Your meditation for today is avoiding the emotional upheavals of the day. As it is mother's day, unless you stay clear then there will be issues between siblings about or including their mothers.

The key to the meditation is to be mindful and to be of service. If you are putting your heart into your service of others and particularly mothers then you are able to avoid the conflict.

Here is a very quick 5 minute meditation for grounding and getting into your intuition. http://sauvagefengshui.doodlefish.com.au/LiteratureRetrieve.aspx?ID=70022
