Clash of the mountains

Vicki Sauvage - Friday, April 30, 2010
Today we have the yang metal dog. This means we have a very strong metal influence today. When Qi is over-represented in any day it can only move outwards as best it can - in so doing it damages all the other elements in the cycle. Metal governs the head, the mind, the mouth and the teeth. It is yang metal so it will chop at things like an ax or a sharp sword. The Qi also continues to contract today.

Because there is no water in the environmental qi the metal does not move to produce out it goes directly into controlling mode and conquers the yang wood sitting in the position of wealth. Wood cannot be replenished or renewed because there is no water - we can expect bad news on the stock market because this current cycle is a cycle of contraction. Money markets are likely to suffer too. If you have some loose change get ready to buy Euro's, they will continue to fall, particularly against the Aussie dollar.

The dog and the dragon are in clash and they are immediately adjacent to each other so if you are either a dragon or a dog take care. It is a clash of two mountains- both are yang signs. The dog and the tiger form the half frame of fire (thank the heavens some small warmth in here - kind of like the weak embers of a fire. This fire is brought to life when the horse comes along at 11am - 1pm. It helps rescue the dog from the clutches of the dragon and form the full frame of fire. You can warm your bones now.

The weakest Qi today is the water Qi. Water is regenerated 9pm - 1am so take care of that Jing Qi - it is precious and leaks away easily. Keep warm and keep hydrated! In the Southern Hemisphere we are entering the seasonal flu season so keep up your supplements and get to bed early.
