Dragon rising up out of the earth, the trees covering his back

Vicki Sauvage - Wednesday, June 23, 2010
Today is a yang wood dragon day. The dragon is earth. Wood controls or breaks up earth. The dragon is the storage for the season of wood. In the hour of the rabbit the season is complete. The hour of the rabbit is 0500 - 0700. Whilst that time is passed in the zones +8 to +12 it is not so in the other zones -12 to + 8, and I do have many regular blog readers in those zones.

This is a really complete day with all the elements present to a greater or lesser degree. The visible Qi is metal (year), feeds water (month), feeds wood (the emperor of the day). This is an excellent trend. Yang wood is rising Qi. It is the starting point of the qi cycle. All is in order.

In the hidden realms we have wood, fire and earth. Again flowing from the year to the day. This is again auspicious.

The emperor of the day is yang wood and is strong - nurtured by the water in the position of resource. The output is moderate but the 1/2 frame of fire supports it, the wealth is good, and there is enough power to implement plans if one manifests wisdom. There is strong universal support today.

The weakest element today is yin metal and yin metal governs the lungs. Lungs are the seat of sadness.

The hexagram today is 32 - Heng - Long Lasting. it is formed by Zhen (Thunder) sitting over Xun (wind). Alfred Huang's interpretation goes thus. 'The message of this gua is that sincerity, purity, and unselfishness (selflessness) are the essential elements of a long lasting relationship'.

Your challenge today is to support the relationships of others. Find someone to whom you can say - your relationship is perfect. Speak to your own partner and reiterate support, sincerity and love for them. Sometimes we sail through our lives with our own sail set well and forget that there are other boats on the great sea and we need to help them as well as ourselves.
