The emperor is yang wood. He has a companion sitting next to him in the stem of the month.
The tiger and the horse combine to form fire. The emperor is therefore flowing to output. The emphasis is on career, on nurturing others, on raising and sustaining family.
The weakest element today is water. Water governs the kidney and urinary bladder meridians. When they are challenged then fear will dominate and the fire of the day will be exhausted.
Fear can be superficial or it can be deep and archetypal. The only way to deal with fear is to acknowledge it and then recruit friends and family to help you peep inside the deep places that hold our fears. We are all touched by fears but how big they get depends on how willing we are to 'engage' them.
