Today we have a yin water snake day (snake is yang fire). This means steam or obfuscation today - that is there is no real opportunity to see the real situation - with people's objectives or real meaning being obscured. Do not be mislead today. You can assess things but do not rely on what is negotiated today to be the real deal.

The greatest force today is the very tricky fire penalty - the snake, monkey and tiger form this penalty. They are all travel signs so this means that the possibility for harm today is strong. Please be very careful on the roads as people will be doing unpredictable and random things. They will switch lanes without warning and you will have to be very very alert!

The strongest element today is yang metal - this means that the mind, brain, head, mouth, thinking will be oversupplied and the wood functions will be under great pressure. This means pressure on the gallbladder meridian and all that it controls and supplies in the body.

The weakest element today is earth. Earth is about sweetness and even-ness. It is the element that nourishes and supports the other elements.

Whilst the snake clashes with the pig the clash is less significant today as the the snake is all tied up with the monkey and the tiger, however there is definitely some pressure on you today as you are also a travel sign.

I think we need to call on the I Ching to give us guidance today. We have water over wood (Jing - Replenishing). Reading the full commentary by Alfred Huang is most inspiring. The guidance today is about replenishing. "The well supplies replenishment but is never exhausted."

Your challenge today is to develop your own inner inexhaustible source. To do this we must develop all the virtues. We must work diligently at eradicating our own attachments and seeds of dissatisfaction. When we start on the path of self-development it seems that there are so many things we have to attend to that we are over-whelmed. We only show progress when we attend to it daily.
