The rabbit and the dog combine to form fire. They can transform in the month stem. The fire is now strong. The emperor loses to the flow to fire.

Even though the rabbit has to leap tall buildings to get to the dog the presence of the fire stem is sufficient to draw out the combination.

This could switch in the hour of the monkey (1500 - 1700) so be prepared. Avoid the temptation to knock off early and have a beer with Duncan. It is a time that drains the day's energy and takes qi away from the emperor, and the dominant flow. (Fire tries to control metal and metal controls wood). The emperor is fully under pressure in that double hour. It is not so easy when the flow switches so radically - kind of like when the train is travelling full tilt and someone switches track - it jolts and throws you about a bit. Take advantage of this 2 hour window if it so suits you.
