Today is Thursday 11th of November - remembrance day. 11th hour of the 11th day people around the western world stop to remember the fallen of the 1st World War. Curious isn't it - the 'world' said after that war it was the war to end all wars and still we have wars and rhetoric about them.

The day is a yin wood ox day. Ox is a transitional sign, it is yin earth. Yin wood is like bamboo and can penetrate the sand but can find no sustenance there. The sand is like the sand of the desert but early in morning when there is moisture sitting on the surface but not enough to nurture the roots.

The yin wood makes a favourable connection with the yang metal and in the hour of the rooster it is fully realized. It transforms to metal.

There is a trend to water and in the hour of the rat this is complete.

Water is prosperous in the month of the pig as it is the start of the season of water.

The pig is in a bind today as it kind of wants to hang out with the tiger and the ox. Only when water is present in a stem can this be completed.

The emperor of the day is yin wood - there is competition from the energy in the tiger. Wealth is not strong but power is. There is modest resource.

The strongest energy today rests with power, but with the modest amount of water hidden in the ox the trend is to drag out the metal to support the water which in turns supports the day master AND the competition.

Today the health watch is on yin fire and yang earth.

The emotional states which will be challenged today are joy, shock and anger. Stay with the process of self reflection and self awareness (not self consciousness or narcissism). With self - reflection comes wisdom!
