Horse swimming in the ocean with a sheep at his tail

Vicki Sauvage - Saturday, July 31, 2010
The energy today 31st of July is that of the yang water horse. This means that yang water sits over the horse which is yin fire. Fire and water = explosions. The stems are yang water, yin water and yang metal. Metal supports and feeds water. Yin and yang water are not really that supportive of each other, so the yang water is very strong having the support of the yang metal.

The horse makes a favourable combination with the tiger to form the partial frame of fire BUT is sitting right next to the sheep which is besotted with the horse. The horse can't get away from the sheep to make his more favourable connection with the tiger until the hour of the dog (1900 - 2100). The horse and the sheep make a new element which is fire.

The trend therefore is to fire
. Today fire is wealth. it is a very good day to be doing a little bit of business - having meetings, setting up things for the coming week. It is also a good time to be writing your resume or CV. Looking for new career options and generally bedding down your prosperity plans. Do put in some time preparing your tax return, looking at your budget, doing your cash flow figures and all those things that pertain to business and wealth creation. It is a good day!

The clash today is to the rat. The rat is water so more steam. Mr and Mrs Ratty should stay contained today as there is so much fire around. It could just singe your whiskers. They can do what they do best which is provisioning. Putting away food for the winter, going shopping (for food), and nibbling on this and that to keep their strength up. Not a good day for you folk unless you need fire in your chart.

The challenge today is not to get swept away in the power of the fire. Remain very focused (fire disperses focus as it spreads out in all directions until it has consumed all the fuel). For all of us it is important to manage enthusiasm lest it rob us of stamina.
