Keep your tail dry

Vicki Sauvage - Wednesday, May 26, 2010
Interesting time today. We have the stems gathering qi but the branch is in its lowest phase. We have Yang fire sitting over the rat - the rat is water so we have the bright sunshine pouring down over the water - evaporating the water from the great lake that stretches out in front of us. When water is evaporated it usually returns to earth as rain. This rain is very heavy and flows to the sea. My interpretation of the day is one of not really being able to see clearly the path of rightness. The path of Tao. We are being challenged to be illuminated by our own inner command system, our own inner light, not relying on what the natural conditions provide, not being dependent on the sun to light our way.

Yang fire is in the driving seat. It is the commander of the day. It is going out to directly challenge the metal sitting opposite it. As we do not have any earth (no output) there can be a lack of wisdom in the energies of the day. There will be big profit takings on the stock exchange, a rally but not to be trusted!

The empty energy is the earth twins so little ability to nourish. If your earth is weak and you cannot get it from the environmental qi, and you do not know how to conserve or preserve Qi then today is the day you will succumb to that infection that has been lurking in the background.

The hexagram today is Wei Ji - not yet fulfilled. To quote Alfred Huang
' Not Yet Fulfilled.
Prosperous and smooth.
Little fox, almost across the river,
Wets its tail.
Nothing is unfavorable.'

For me the challenge as I see it today is to be helping others keep their tail dry - to be supporting and nurturing people in our environment - make sure you contact your friends today and add one person whom you have only just recently met to that list of people. Be a good listener and at the same time support them to tell their story.
