The emperor for the day is yang water, there is moderate output, fair wealth, weak power (although axillary power is there), and very strong resource. The draining energies are not strong enough to overcome the power of the metal and the water. Therefore the dominant energy for the day is resource flowing to emperor - very strong and well supported.

Water is about communication, it is about philosophy it is about teaching, guiding, libations and the deep inner workings of the human being and other contemplative beings.

It is an excellent day for communicating with others, sharing your vision and joining in their vision. Together we can be the stone-cutter who discovered that the most powerful job in the world was to hew the mountain, not to be the emperor, not to be the vizier, not to be the sun, not to be the cloud, not to be the wind, not to be the mountain but to be the stone-cutter!

The strongest power today accrues to the yang wood day master and the already strong yang earth day master. The yin water day master has small wealth opportunities with enough power but no resource thus leading to frustrations unless there is strong resource in the personal chart.

Your challenge today is to reflect on your style and qualities of communication. Do you go out of your way to match the other person's style or dominant learning modality. Do you slow down enough to 'listen' to the others around you. Are you always under pressure to get your point across to others. Do you know how to question if people need to hear that from you and if they need to hear that now?
