Today is Saturday 11th of September. It is a yang wood, rat day. The rat is yin water. Water nurtures wood. There is yin and yang wood sitting next to each other, so it might be tempting to quarrel with people of the opposite sex. This will be heightened if you have competition in your chart (as does Tony Abbott).

We have some output, some resource (but it is more supportive of the competitor of the day emperor). What is interesting is the yin and yang metal. This is in the position of power today. Yin metal is Julia Gillard's power and it is sitting in the position of power so a good day for her - maybe she will go to the footy and have a little time off! It will be interesting to watch her unfold in the next few weeks and months. As the month is ruled by the rooster it will support her already strong power. You can have too much power so interesting times.

There is no wealth at all, so career and such is having a rest. One's standing in the community may well be affected too. Watch what goes out - could be tempting to overspend.

The power is in direct competition with the day emperor and his minions (sitting beside him). It is therefore a day when people are going to be struggling for position, some are going to see themselves as king makers and others will see themselves as king breakers. What is for sure is that there will be power struggles and people will fight VERY hard for their right to be king! It does not mean that they will have wisdom on their side as there is not a lot available.

Today the emperor of the day is weakened by no resource, yin wood sitting beside him and the strong power, as well as some output. Therefore the weakest energy today is actually the day master, yang wood. The meridian targetted is gallbladder and gallbladder is very vulnerable to wind! Keep that wind palace at the back of the neck very well covered, particularly in the hours of metal (1500 - 1900). The rooster time is less of an insult than the monkey hours.

We have two Tao Hua with the rat being the Tao Hua for the pig, sheep and rabbit and the rooster being the Tao Hua for the dragon, rat and monkey. Good luck those on the look out for romance!

Your challenge today is to make sure that you manage your emotional states - do not let yourself be drawn away from your centre by anger and bitterness. When we are ruled by our emotional states we are disadvantaged, and eventually we damage our qi. Love, love, love is all there is.
