Back to the daily energies. Today is a yang water rat day. The rat is yin water. We have two equally poised energies clashing with each other as with yesterday. Hopefully you were wise enough to be able to avoid conflict by using the process of non-addiction! Two people trying to be right is a polarity and cannot be resolved. Only when we shift our mind-set can we change the paradigm within which we operate. Shifting the paradigm admits that there can be at least a third possibility (as with the Australian election result). The 3rd possibility is a negotiated position - a position of compromise and leaving your guns at the door!

This is part of the universal energy shift that we are currently experiencing. Those who are ready to move with this shift of consciousness will become the leaders and the those who hold to their old positions will be the followers (although they will probably be angry, bitter and reluctant to leave the comfort of power).

Today we have a very strong trend to water as the monkey and the rat combine to make the season of water. In the hour of the dragon 0700 - 0900. If you move with the energy of water then you can become the effective communicator, the philosopher. You can become like the life force which nourishes all human cells. Out of control yang water is like the ocean and people can be overwhelmed by their emotions. If you contain that inclination to drama and stay with the wisdom of the ocean - the regular movement - yin giving rise to yang, you will be on top of the environmental energies.

If you find yourself lost in the drama then bring yourself to observe your breath at your nostrils for 5 minutes. As you centre yourself and observe the movement of your breath - in and out - so you can calm and remove yourself from the eye of the storm. However do look at how you contribute to the drama! No use in having a volatile emotional nature without getting some idea of how you generate it - otherwise you will go through life blaming others for your emotional states!

As there is no power to modify the water it is more difficult to bring it under control BUT no reason not to try!

Today is also a Tao Hua or day of romance so offerings to loved ones of a simple nature are always welcome - nurture your current relationship. If you are looking for your perfect match (btw they are made and don't arrive fully formed) then you are well blessed today if you are a snake, rooster or ox.
