Today is the 30th of march 2011. It is a yang wood monkey day. The monkey is metal. Metal controls wood. Earth controls heaven.

The monthly and yearly energy is also conflicting energy but it is yin and today's energy picture is yang. The emperor is weakened by the metal.

The yin cycle sees yin metal challenging the yin wood which is sitting as rival to the emperor.

Today is therefore a day which carries the potential of conflict. Power controls the emperor and power controls the emperor's rival.

The way to mediate this conflict is to bring water into the picture. If you find yourself in conflict today then make sure that you use the qi of water to moderate the energy. It is likely to be conflict between men and women and between siblings. Just don't buy into the cycle - maintain your channels of communication and if it is possible take some time to sit with or around water - be that the ocean, the river, the creek or just a plain old fountain (if they still have fountains in your city).
