Next Monday 23rd is the beginning of Chinese Lunar New Year. A time for preparation and ritual cleaning is upon many Chinese this week.

Tues 17th Jan 2012: yin fire ox

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin fire ox

The emperor is yin fire.

The flow is to metal as the oxen's earth is recruited to support the metal in the stems. In today's chart metal represents wealth, but the emperor surrenders to wealth.

The emperor is weak.

Yin fire ox day can bring events with motor vehicles and it is best to not be on the road unless absolutely necessary. This warning is despite it not being a travel day.

Wed 18th Jan: yang earth tiger

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang earth tiger

The emperor is yang earth.

The flow is from the emperor to his children. It is a time of nurturing and sustaining others or else you will become cranky because you are weak and cannot control the outflow.

Yielding to the universal flow can be very useful. If you have the conditions in your own chart to navigate the outflow successfully then go with it - you will know if it is easy - if it is tough then give to others to learn how to receive fully.

Thurs 19th Jan: yin earth rabbit

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin earth rabbit

The emperor is yin earth.

The flow is borderline but all is flowing away from the emperor.

The double hours will determine the real flow and the hidden energies today. It is up to you to prioritize and then action.

Things which matter most

must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.

Fri 20th Jan: yang metal dragon

Today is the midpoint of the month and, is the serious time for preparation for Chinese New Year.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang metal dragon

The emperor is yang metal.

The flow is regarded as one of rivalry. The yin kids are trying to vie for the attention of the emperor but he is pretty cool with his dragon mate sitting under him. Numerically however he is outdone. Two yin metal and sitting over the ox - curtains to the emperor. He must yield.

There is great power in yielding, knowing exactly when to give ground is the essence of statesmanship.

Sat 21st Jan: yin metal snake

The snake is a travel sign - so caution on the road particularly because of the flow and the strength of the emperor.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin metal snake

The emperor is yin metal.

The flow is intense support for the emperor.

The emperor is therefore very strong.

Travel is in the spotlight today so make sure that you do not speed, and that you have plenty of time to get to your destination.

Some people who do not like metal might experience intense headaches today so make sure that you manage tension and stress well. Drink plenty of water and go exercise that diaphragm - singing is a great outlet.

Sun 22nd Jan: yang water horse

Today is the day of intense preparation and some people are planning steam boat parties for after the cleaning. There are two romance stars in the spotlight today.

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yang water horse

The emperor is yang water.

The flow is very weakly to fire because of the presence of the rabbit. This means that the focus is on wealth and the emperor is definitely strong enough to control the wealth.

Are you strong enough to control the wealth? What does your chart tell you. Is water your wealth, is metal your wealth? What does wealth mean to you?

We are related to each other.

By taking care of you, I take care of myself.

By taking care of myself, I take care of you.

Happiness and safety are not individual matters.

Mon  23rd Jan: yin water sheep - HAPPY NEW YEAR

  • year: yin metal rabbit
  • month: yin metal ox
  • day: yin water sheep

The emperor is yin water.

The flow is to wood.

The emperor is relatively strong but must yield to the power of the sheep and the rabbit to combine to form output for him. He is forced to act benevolently. Give until it hurts ;-) Philanthropy is a great institution.
