At 0315 hrs we clicked over to the month of the horse, thank heavens and finally some moisture in the environmental qi so that we can come back to the ability to compromise, communicate and more philosophical, reflective qualities being present. Fire is all very well for passion and fire in the belly but fire without moisture is like the desert or a fierce burning fire it knows no end until it has consumed all the resource, all the fuel.

The horse makes a liaison with the tiger to form part of the fire frame but that is much better than the partial fire penalty of the snake and the tiger. The monkey and the rooster are still in void for the month but the monkey is no longer completing the fire penalty as it did last month with the snake.

The daily energy is yin fire sitting over the pig which is water. Yin fire sitting over yang water. Yin fire is heaven or visible qi and yang water is the unseen the hidden qi or the earth qi. This is not the right order (fire usually ascends and water usually descends). The yin fire stem makes a special liaison with the yang water of the month stem forming a 3rd element - wood. Wood is resource to the fire day master. All in all I do think today will be a very productive day. Earth is empty but everything else is very nicely poised and in a good harmonious flow with each other.

The strongest element of the day is the yin fire (the master of the day) and he is being celebrated by the other elements, they all, in their way contribute to the elevation of the king.

Nourish the earth with sweetness and healthy food, with healthy thoughts and acts of faith and the earth will be preserved.
