Yang fire tiger day - watch the sparks fly

Vicki Sauvage - Thursday, July 15, 2010
Yang fire tiger day today. The tiger is wood (not Tiger Woods by the way). Wood feeds fire. Fire is the emperor of the day. Fire is very strong today with good resource, no serious output, some wealth, gentle power and good resource. It is not being moderated by anything else.

We have two tigers, prowling through the jungle together, barely visible in the hot hot sun which beats down from above. There is sufficient moisture in small pools and reservoirs to sate their thirst. You can hear the sound of birds in the tall trees.

If you are a yang fire day master then the energy of the day is very supportive particularly if you personally have good, effective power. This is a power day so go for it folks.

The clash today is to the poor beleaguered monkey. He is under so much pressure with the two tigers stalking him. Almost the day to stay at home with a good book a box of chocolates. But the monkey ever curious, ever adventurous will not settle for that today - he is off on his mission. Expect delays to your travel plans though!

The tiger day is a strong travel day with the year also a tiger - emphasis is on movement.

Your challenge today is to sit still. Sit very still, notice what arises for you when you sit still for any length of time. Does you mind wander, does it skip around trying to negotiate world peace, remember what else should be on your shopping list, and the garden bed you are going to dig over on the weekend! Sitting still is very important to develop equanimity. Equanimity is THE quality that brings us happiness and peace from our mind's labours.
