Today, 1st of July we have yang water sitting over rat. Rat is yin water. Yang water sits over yin water. The rat comes into direct conflict with the horse which it is sitting next to.

The horse still partners with the tiger to form the 1/2 frame of fire but the water is so strong it extinguishes the fire. This leads to steam.

Fire is sitting in the place of wealth today. The emperor of the day and his / her consort (yin water) are the strongest in the chart.

Water is about communication, about philosophy, about connection and education. It is also about wisdom and leadership by example.

Fire is reasonably well resourced, is not controlled by any power but is challenged by the yang metal in the place of resource and the emperor of the day. This means that any wealth making events today will need to be backed up by strong personal qi.

The weakest energy today is yin wood which governs the liver meridian. Make sure that you do not put pressure on this meridian as it is a major detox / cleansing organ. Make sure that you increase your consumption of green leafy vegetables and herbs to aid digestion.  Ensure that you drink lots of water, and even add some barley grass to your diet.

The emotion that challenges the liver is anger. Your challenge today is to maintain equanimity. There will be moments to observe others anger or to manage your own. Wisdom is the antidote to anger. Reflect deeply before acting and speaking today.
