Saturday 12th of June is the day of the water snake. This is water sitting over fire - yin water sitting over yang fire.

When fire meets water or water meets fire we have the potential for explosions, but this is yin water which is like the rain, like a stream of river or small lake and the fire in this instance is like the sun – big and bright! So the rain cannot extinguish the sun but it can rain on the parade!

Let's look at the full picture then. We have yin and yang water sitting right next to each other, we have a small amount of output in the shape of yang wood, we have plenty of yin and yang fire which is wealth, we have no power and we have very good resource in the form of yang metal. When we have good wealth, we have movement on the stock markets, as they do not trade on the weekend that market will not be affected by this wealth opportunity. As wealth is fire today that is directly related to the stock market and energy resources such as gas, (not petroleum that is water) generation of electricity, the stock market itself.

If you are a yang water day master this is supportive for you BUT if you do not have strong power in your chart then you cannot use the wealth in the day.

If you are a yang wood day master you have great energy for finishing off the thesis, doing your assignments, writing job applications, writing your grand opus, in short any creative output.

If you are a yang fire day master you are well supported but must have good earth in your chart.

If you are a yang earth person then this is your lucky day (so long as you do have some resource in your chart) – you can take the lead today and it will be productive and bear fruit both in the short term and in the longer term.

We have not visited the hexagram of the day for a few days. Today it is Kan over Li = Ji Ji – Already fulfilled. Here is Alfred Huang's commentary.

Already Fulfilled.
Being prosperous and smooth.
Only in little affairs is there prosperity and smoothness.

Favourable to be steadfast and upright.
Because the firm and the yielding are in correct places
And respond to their proper ones.

Beginning: good fortune,
For the yielding is in the central.
End: disorder.
There is no way out.
