Today is a yang earth horse day. The horse is yin fire. The earth is supported by the fire.

The emperor of the day is yang earth. The strongest energies are again yang wood and yang metal. They sit opposed to each other – today's cycle they sit as output and power. There is reasonable water and fire (there is yin and yang energies at the place of resource).

The horse and the tiger combine to form a partial combination of fire and in the hour of the dog this energy is complete. The hour of the dog is 1900 – 2100. Fire sits in the position of resource today. This means that the strongest energy of the day is fire, which is able to support the day emperor.

The weakest energy today is yin metal. Yin metal governs lungs. If your chart shows weak lung qi or yin metal then today is very important for you to guard your qi. Shouting and coughing loudly can strain this meridian and organ. The emotional aspect of yin metal is sadness and worry. If you find these emotional states tapping you on your shoulder the way to reduce the impact is to conjure the energy that produces or supports yin metal which is yin earth.

It is a day to act with your body. Inactivity leads to introspection - too much introspection leads to worry and self condemnation – avoid this as much as possible so that you can maintain your energy system. Of course one of the things which is really fabulous for moving the body with awareness is Qi Gong.
