Thursday 24th of June is a yin wood snake day. The snake clashes with the tiger. They are both traveling signs. If you are a traveling sign (tiger, snake, pig or monkey) then you will feel restless, irritable and out of sorts if you are not moving with intention. When ever the snake or the monkey manifest in the day this year we have the potential for the fire penalty. The monkey hour today will complete the triad (1500 - 1700). All three of those signs are in peril so need to be very careful today.
The clash today is to the pig. The snake is yang fire, the pig is yang water. Water extinguishes and controls the fire, in so doing it also creates steam, so it will be difficult to see things clearly today!
At 9am today the Parliamentary Labour Party meet to decide the fate of Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister and leader of the PLP. What a very peculiar move on their part. It will certainly deliver a defeat in the forthcoming election, a party divided cannot win. If Julia Gillard wins she will rule with an iron fist. It is interesting to see in both their charts that this month and this year there are quarrels with the opposite sex visible. Of interest the snake brings different opportunities to each of them. For Rudd the snake combines with the rooster to form the 1/2 frame of metal which is wealth to him. For Gillard the snake combines with the rooster and the ox in her chart to form metal but metal is her power. She has very very strong power in her chart - in fact it is so strong as to weaken her day master. We will know in a few hours if we will have the first woman prime minister and in a few months we will see if she will serve another term, or the labour party will go into opposition. We do not have Julia Gillards hour of birth so some part of her chart is obscure. Doubtless the hour of birth will soon be available as those wonderful Western Astrologers will be able to rectify her chart now.
Curious times. It is perhaps pertinent to observe that in the early dawn of 25th June, 1950 war broke out on the 28th parallel in the Korean Peninsula. Yesterday General McChrystal was replaced by the Obama administration for 'insubordinate statements'.
Yes indeed very curious times. Even more desperately we need to be leading our leaders, bringing the qualities of reflection, deep circumspection and sincerity to our lives.
Your challenge today is to spend some time in reflection and contemplation. It is urgent that we as individuals accept the role of leadership, the responsibility for examining the times we are in conflict, when we are arrogant and insubordinate. To rid the world of these qualities only we can change.
