This is a yin metal sheep day. Sheep is earth, earth yields metal - so the branches (what is hidden) supports what is visible. The snake is able to radiate some light onto the picture. The sheep has hidden fire so how do we fare today with the energies?

We have a small amount of wealth (wood) and there is a small amount of power and resource BUT the yin metal is very dominant. We have reasonably strong yang metal (conflict between males and females). As the metal is so strong and there is no output it means that the metal must attack wealth. This means that the stock market will once again go into free fall while the banking and finance sector might rally it will not recover the losses of the last few days. Gold and precious metals will fare better as they are resourced. Definitely not a time to be speculating unless you know exactly what you are doing.

The day masters who will prosper today are yang fire with strong wealth and good output. Everyone else is under pressure. Kevin Rudd is a strong yang fire day master with good output and good power. He is the person to watch today.

The hexagram today is Cui - bringing together. Alfred Huang describes this as bringing people together. Cui 'symbolizes a large community such as a nation'. Perhaps we can all meditate on the bringing together of the nation of Thailand. Because there are two solid or yang lines at the fourth and fifth places they represent the king and the prime minister being powerful in their leadership, they work in tandem to bring people together in a larger community with a strong mutual bond'.

We are all one community and when we reach out and touch each other in true and 'connected' ways we do make a difference. We can link hands across this globe and create support and meaning for all.
