Intro

There will be no monthly newsletter in January. I will be spending most of the month of December preparing the annual newsletter. See below for some announcements about the year of the dragon.

December 7th: month of the Metal Rat

The month of the metal rat commences on the 7th of Dec at 19:32hrs.

The stem is yang metal, the branch is rat. This means that the rat is nourished by the stem of metal. This is regarded as being auspicious.

The year of the rabbit is drawing to a close. We have the seasons of water to finish and then we look towards the new year of the water dragon.

The month of December should see a little romance coming to those whose love life is governed by the rat. The rabbit is also a romance sign so the energy of love is most definitely in the air - all that mistletoe will not be put to waste.

The clash days or void days for the month of December are: 8th, 17th, 20th, 29th, 1st Jan.

January 6th: month of the yin metal ox

The yin metal ox month starts on the 6th of January 2012 at 6:41am.

The stem will be yin metal and the ox is yin earth. Earth gives rise to metal - this is another auspicious pairing. The energy of the rabbit has almost entirely faded away. We will start to feel the effects of the dragon rising out of its lair so the energy is not quite clear. This is good news for those of us in the southern hemisphere who will  be enjoying the summer of wine and roses (or chocolate).

The earth months are usually months of transition - time to reflect / contemplate and give thought to the months of action. It is a great time for those of you in the northern hemisphere to fast in preparation for the rising of the spring energy.

Southern hemisphere folk - more fruits and berry smoothies are the way to go. Avoid heavy meat dishes and too many dense carbohydrates.

The clash or void days for January are: 11th, 13th, 23rd, 25th, 4th of February.

Enjoy the summer break, and for those of you north of the equator enjoy the short days, the times for reflection and planning.

Getting ready to celebrate

November 26th 1997 I was certified to practice Yin Yang Traditional Feng Shui by my teacher Master Henry Liu. This means that I have been in practice for 2 7 year cycles. I am getting ready to celebrate this event and as a result am looking to do some really radical shifts in my practice.

Vicki's update

If I thought that October was busy then try out my November. I went on my annual spiritual retreat which gave me an excellent time to reflect on my next 15 years and how I want it to look. One of the shifts I am slowly moving to in the next few months are listed below.

I am moving to a referral only business. That means I will only accept referrals from people who have a direct link to you my clients or who have attended one of my talks.

I will be radically changing my website - it will be for information only and there will be only 3 products offered. Some of the products have already been removed from the site.

The blog will change from daily to weekly as of the 6th of December.

The newsletters will go to 2nd monthly.

In the new year I will be offering a new service based around a new business model - More details to follow in the annual newsletter.

In the annual newsletter there will be an invitation to celebrate the end of my 2nd 7 year cycle. It is still in the planning stage (finding the right time to celebrate is the key).

You will notice that I have already removed some of the workshops from the schedule.
