Dowsing
What is Dowsing?
Dowsing is also known as Western Geomancy, Radaesthesia and Divining (this is often linked with divining for water). There is a lot of dispute in Feng Shui circles (not at the Master level though), that Feng Shui and Dowsing are not good bedfellows. This chatter is coming from people who do not understand either and more particularly both subject matters. This will be a forthcoming topic in my forum subjects. In both practices we need to attend to the energies that arise from the earth and the energies that arrive at the earth or building. There is actually no mismatch between eastern and western geomancy.
How do you learn dowsing?
There are some excellent books written about Western Geomancy and they are reliable. I have recommended several on my yahoo forum site. For both practices you must have a personal meditation practice that allows you to get centred and able to exclude any external influences that are not relevant to the analysis. There are several health studies that have been linked to direct health problems – if you are interested in following through on this research go to Don Maish’s site. Don has gathered the research from many sources. In Western Geomancy there are many different lines that are referred to. They include Geopathic Stress, Hartmann lines, Curry lines or Grid.These are the main ones that Vicki examines when doing an evaluation or audit.
Electro Magnetic Fields (EMF)

There is absolutely no argument from anyone that Electro Magnetic Fields are a part of our natural and built environment. The argument often arises about what are safe exposures and what generates these fields such as earthing the electrical system via the copper water pipes on older style buildings. Most states of Australia have issued new guidelines to stop this practice as some plumbers have been electrocuted when replacing copper pipes.
The fields have different Vibrational rates referred to as hertz or gauss. Vicki refers all her clients to Don Maisch when electromagnetic fields appear to be too high or there is chronic illness present. There is dispute about exposure to Extremely Low Fields and Don has some very pertinent things to say about the extraordinary incidence of Breast Cancer in women working at the ABC studio at Toowong (Qld).
Electromagnetic Stress
There are different types of line the outcome of which is stress for the human system. Interesting other sentient beings react to them in different ways. Dogs avoid stress lines, cats love them, ants build their nests over them but birds avoid them. If you are willing to observe your natural environment and the creatures that inhabit or pass through it you can get an idea about how beneficial or harmful these lines are. When living and particularly sleeping over geopathic stress the human immune system is weakened and disease states ensue. When these lines cross each other they are much more likely to create these disease states. These are often called vortexes. The energy is very strong and will weaken the body system that coincides with the vortex.
Balancing energies
When Vicki dowses your property and if she finds the property is afflicted with Geopathic Stress she will recommend that you and all members of your family do a Celtic Rock Clearing. Vicki guides you through the process and many clients are deeply touched by the ‘ceremony’. It takes about 1 – ˝ hours and is sometimes recommended before doing a Feng Shui consultation. Remote clearing and balancing of energies
It is possible to do this from a distance. You would need to supply Vicki with a scale site map with any buildings correctly located. You can phone or email to set up the service. It includes a 30 minute phone conversation to detail what has been found and the recommendations to balance the energies.
Dowsing Classes
Vicki and her husband Daniel teach pendulum and rod dowsing regularly. You can join a class or set up a class in your area. They choose to teach once a year in any district so if you want to learn then you should email or phone to be put on a waiting list.
We take rocks with high silica content and use them to hold a new energy print for your property. The process takes a little over an hour.
Vicki's advice on changing a few simple placements has made an enormous difference in the feeling within my office. I would recommend everyone have their homes and business premises checked. The adjustments needed are so small and yet make such a huge difference.
