Today is a yin metal ox day. The ox is earth and earth supports metal. Barack Obama and Julia Gillard are metal oxen.
There an no special stem connections so lets move on to the branches. The ox and the rat are part of the season of water but they cannot transform as there is not water in the stems. However the ox and the rat can combine to form earth - there is earth in the month stem, this is therefore effected.
The earth strengthens the metal day master.
There is no effective opposition, except for the yang metal sitting right next to the day emperor. This means there is competition for the transformed element - not so good for the emperor.
The summary of the day is competition - competition for resources and competition between men and women. If you notice this coming up in your circle of friends or work colleagues or subordinates take evasive action - no one wants to be just the 'victim' of the daily energies - we can before warned and therefore be wise taking the wise person's action rather than be an automaton.
Julian Assange
Julian is a yin earth day master - he has little fire, so is weak. He already has ox in his spouse palace and therefore the additional ox competes with the rat in the month to make a transformation to earth. The yang earth on the month stem competes for the transformed earth and the yang metal in the year stem (and his luck pillar stem) compete to absorb the earth - Julian needs his yin metal strong to maintain the flow.He is weakened by the presence of the yang metal as competition - this will be a mediocre day for him. He needs yang water to drain the yang metal and leave his yin metal less challenged.
